For Daniel Hock’s Benesh, I designed a cover that illustrates the journey of Benesh Burke from childhood to soldier and finally to a contented adult. The design visually traces his personal evolution against the backdrop of 1930s New York, World War II, and the Holocaust, highlighting his struggles with identity, assimilation, and the consequences of hiding his heritage.
