For Albert Horniman's Half Orc Bastard, I designed a cover that reflects Kelev’s internal and external struggles as a fugitive torn between two worlds. Marked by his mixed heritage and the trauma of his past, Kelev must navigate a perilous journey of survival, self-discovery, and power. The design captures the novel’s themes of identity, prejudice, and the search for belonging, using a bold, high-contrast portrait to evoke the raw emotion and tension at the heart of his story.
