For Debby Show’s Paper Roses, I designed a cover that centers on the Moroccan setting where the family’s buried history begins. The design captures the warmth and texture of that world—sunlit walls, intricate patterns, and the quiet weight of secrets that have endured for generations. It reflects the novel’s themes of silence, inheritance, and resilience, evoking the beauty and tension of a story that moves between continents and generations.
